Speech is an MSHSL sanctioned activity where student sin grades 7-12 may compete in a variety of speaking categories, 13 in all!  Through participation in this activity, students will develop a very important life skill in public speaking.  I can't tell you the number of former team who say they use the skills they gained every day in their professional life today.  

In the 2017-18 competitive year, we had our first State Champion in 13 years.  Brenndan Walton placed first  in the Extemporaneous Reading category at the State Speech meet in Apple Valley.  We are very proud of this talented young man - WAY TO GO BRENNDAN!!!!
